Terms for the lookout

1. Who keeps the lookout

These terms govern your use of firelookoutmeadow.com ("Fire Lookout Meadow", "we", "us"), operated by the operator of firelookoutmeadow.com. Using the site means you accept them.

2. Who may climb to the lookout

Use of Fire Lookout Meadow is limited to users aged 19 or over, and by using the site you confirm that you are 19 or over.

3. The coins on Huckle’s haypile

• Each game is played with virtual coins, issued at no charge.
• Each coin is not money, credit or property, and it has no monetary value.
• Nobody can purchase, sell, withdraw, transfer or exchange a coin for money, goods, services or prizes, and the games contain no in-app purchases.
• No prize of real-world value is ever put up at the lookout.
• The lookout may adjust or reset coins, levels and features at any time.

4. No real-money gambling on the ridge

The lookout neither offers nor promotes real-money gambling, and Fire Lookout Meadow does not link to gambling operators.

5. Your trail register account

• Paintbrush Boulders and Icefield Overlook, the worlds beyond the open one, require a free account. One account per person, kept to yourself.
• Keep your password between you and Huckle, and tell us without delay if anyone else has used your account.
• Any account can be deleted from its account page whenever you choose. The deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
• The lookout may suspend any account that is used to disrupt the site, or one it believes belongs to someone under 19.
• Coins, levels and missions sit with the account rather than with you as property, and Huckle may reset them.

6. Fair use of the lookout

You may not try to disrupt the site, point automated tools at it or offer coins for trade, and you may not let anyone under 19 on to the ridge.

7. Keeping the tower open, and liability

The site is offered “as is”, and the lookout may change or withdraw any part of it. A malfunction voids all plays and pays. These terms leave untouched any liability that by law cannot be limited, and your statutory rights are not affected.

8. Law governing the lookout terms

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and by those federal laws of Canada that apply in that province.
